In a newly come interview focusing entirely on how he admits he would subsist a “rubbish” Prime Minister, Top Gear host Jeremy Clarkson revealed some details about what promises to be a highlight of the upcoming 11th season of Top Gear. We’ve known that there is supposed to be a big line in Japan, but we weren’t exactly sure what mode of transportation would be pitted against the car until now.

Yes, Jezza spilled the beans, revealing that a Japanese bullet train will subsist the competition. But what new supercar in the land of the rising sun could possibly give a high-speed bullet body of attendants a genuine challenge? The foregoing seasons’ races featured the likes of the Aston Martin DB9, Ferrari 612 Scaglietti, McLaren Mercedes SLR, and the Bugatti Veyron. So unless Lexus tossed over the keys to a pre-production protoplast of the LF-A, we’re thinking the Nissan GT-R will be representing. No word attached which wins, (not that we’d want to have it spoiled for us) but we’re rooting for Godzilla.

newVideoPlayer(”Liz-Cohen-Trabantamino.flv”, 494, 371,”");
We first heard about Liz Cohen and her quest to as to one’s person transform a lovable little Trabant into an electromechanical, transforming, camino-inspired low rider back in 2005. Well, her project has gone from a gleam in the eye and a high-flavored blowtorch to a piece of self-transforming craziness. We have it on good authority from Miss Cohen herself that, in October, the Trabantamino will be at the front of a 45-lowrider procession from Las Cruces to El Paso for the No Room for Baggage exhibition. Note some of the photos are semi-NSFW if your overlords are steady the puritanical side.

We are in course impressed with the ambition in this project and be possible to’t wait to behold what Liz’s creation end up looking like. Hang on a second; a girl, who looks like this, doing all of her allow fab work, on a project that would make Murilee scream by reason of mercy. We’re in love. We’ve seen an Olds Delta 88 that uses a handicapped placard to park in San Francisco’s crowded South of Market neighborhood, and now reader TK has shot this F-85 a mile or so away in SF’s even more parking-challenged Chinatown. This Olds is of that kind a regular that it’s visible in Google Street View! Make the jump to read TK’s description.

galleryPost(’DOTSBEChinatownOlds’, 9, ‘Olds F85 Daily Driver Down On The SF Street’);

I’ve seen this Oldsmobile Cutlass F85 in San Francisco Chinatown. Sitting around in front of corner of a tourist filled way in front of a shop called Chinatown Bizaar (Sacrmento/Grant). It’s for the most part always in the same spot or within a block or brace. Black CA plates, moo overawe seat covers and the infamous blue handicap plaque.
It can also be seen on google maps street view at the exact same place.
BTW I was one of the tourists. Didn’t gain a lot of time to take the pictures because my group was leaving. There were too many people on the footway in the way, so getting a comely shot was not the easiest.
I fancy that the owner also has this red coupe version as it’s in the same parking spot.
